Resolutions

So often at the beginning of a new year, we find ourselves considering resolutions. Maybe you go through the process of officially making New Year's resolutions, including setting a course of action, making a plan. Maybe you only consider how you want the next year to be different. Either way, the beginning of a new year brings new possibilities, a blank slate, a fresh start.

You may decide:
to exercise more
watch less TV
read more books
spend less time on social media
eat more healthy
restore relationships
become a better knitter. :-)

Dictionary.com defines resolution:
the act of resolving or determining upon an actions, course of action, method, procedure, etc; a resolve; a decision or determination; the mental state or quality of being resolved or resolute; firmness of purpose.

I've been pondering how as followers of Christ we potentially have one common resolution. In 2015, I want to know Jesus more. I want to look more like Him this year than I did last year. I'm longing for Him to invade the spaces of my life - my whole life - and restore and refine and renew. I want God to become my ONE life, my ONE love, my ONE passion. And I believe that when that happens day by day, more and more every day, all the other "stuff" of life will fall into place.

We are praying that April 10-12 will be part of your 2015 journey towards a renewed passion, a re-ignited love, a precious breath of life.
